No wonder my collagen pill's been missing!

Meiji Collagen Premium

Fancl Collagen Pill

Fancl Tense Up

Are you researching about collagen supplement? I did the same a couple of years ago. Some swears by it and some said the molecule is too large to be absorbed by the body. Some see results in days, some are convinced you need to take them in the long run to see the results. My take? Try it to see if it works for you. If it does, bingo! If it doesn’t, save your money! Win Win situation.

The most popular one I recalled would be the FANCL Tense-Up drink. I remember my girl pals will beg those returning from Japan to get them a few bottles. Apparently it it cheaper there and collagen investment can be costly in the long run. 10 bottles in Singapore costs S$61.50 multiply by 30 days would be S$184.50. So, one year would be S$2,214! Wow!

Meiji Collagen powder is another popular product and is more cost effective in the long run. While Fancl boasts their patented HTC Collagen, while Meiji sells on their price and potency of their collagen( 1 spoonful= 5000mg collagen). One tin of 28 days Meiji Collagen starts from about S$50, that’s about a quarter of what you would pay for FANCL Tense Up.

They come in the form of powder, pill or drink. Usually the higher the potency, the better it is. At least this is what they claim to be.

So do your research and stay beautiful!
